Michael, How is it possible to compare the law of Islamic demons with the law of the One True God of Israel?
Have you no concern that justice be served in society? If no law of God, how will the cause of the weak and downtrodden, or victims of rape, theft, and other crimes be upheld?
Man has no way of defining justice apart from the law of God. What would you put in the place of the law of God other than some unjust version of the law of man?
If Jesus, got rid of the Old Testament law, why then did he validate both the Ten Commandments and the ordinances (Ex. 21-23) in his rebuke of the Pharisees at Mark 7:10: "For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother' and 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'"
In I Tim 1:6-11 Paul states clearly that the Old Testament laws against various crimes are in complete accord with "the glorious gospel with which I have been entrusted." This contradicts your assertion that Jesus somehow replaced the law.
It is dangerous to treat the Law of God with a cavalier attitude. Habakkuk lamented, "Therefore the law is slacked (ignored) and justice is never upheld." Because the law is ignored he prophesied, "the Chaldeans are coming!"

Biblical Law? by: Michael
Reading these documents worries me considerably, and reminds me so much of the muslim people in Great Britain who are campaigning to bring sharia law into force there. I guess there is an alter ego, a ying and yang, for all types...
I believe that in the US something like 2% of the population is currently incarcerated and this figure is expanding by about 4% per year. Surely bringing about biblical law would increase this population considerably, we are all sinners!
All of that of what you discuss on this site is of no consequence. Is it not that the purpose of the coming of Jesus was to forgive all sin? The sermon on the mount was probably the most important sermon that Jesus gave in that we are that we should not judge, as we will be judged. There is no longer an eye for an eye, Jesus taught acceptance, patience, love and forgiveness, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.... It is up to us to work on our own faults and inadequacies, whatever the law of the land and stop worrying about those of others, afterall, God has the final word.
