Fort Hood Terror Attack & The First Amendment

The media is still gorging on the November 8th Fort Hood terror attack by Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan.
But one thing no one is discussing is the genesis of this incident – the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. The establishment clause (“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof….”) was a compromise by 18th-century Christians. In order to keep the government out of their churches, they allowed the government to recognize and allow any religion whatsoever.
Had the framers established the United States of America as an exclusively Christian nation (allowing individual freedom of choice to serve or not serve Yahweh via His Son), we would not be today a polytheistic nation dotted with synagogues, mosques, and temples dedicated to other gods. This conclusion is inescapable, and something every Christian must either acknowledge or bear responsibility for supporting First and Second Commandment violations, made possible by the First Amendment.
The Fort Hood terrorist attack would have never occurred if the framers had established a Christian nation. Under such a government, the military would never have permitted an openly Muslim man to serve in the armed forces. In other words, the genesis of what occurred at Fort Hood is unequivocally the First Amendment. We will inevitably suffer more of the same insanity until we return to Yahweh’s perfect laws (Psalm 19:7-9) as the standard for society.
