Who was Really Guilty of treason?
by: Jim Harrison

Let's set the record straight. The U.S. Constitution states that "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them [the states], or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort." Question: Who levied war against the states? Answer: Lincoln and his henchmen. Conclusion: Lincoln and his expansionist oligarchy were guilty of treason.

The Constitution does not authorize the president or any branch of the U.S. Government to conscript military personnel from some states to make war on other states. The president DOES have the authority to take the case to court. The only disadvantage for Lincoln was that in those days the Federal Court system understood the Constitution (So did the American people.) He would have lost his case. His only hope was to get his brand of "justice" out of the barrel of a gun, making war on military and civilians. Years later, Chinese Communist leader Mao Tse Dung adopted the same policy. End of argument.
