Amendment to the First Amendment

Mr. President I rise in opposition to the proposed First Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof...."
As it stands, the Amendment is a declaration of religious neutrality and an egregious violation of the first and second commandments. The first commandment demands that we have no other gods but the true God and the second forbids the erecting of any idol. Together with the rejection of all biblical qualifications for government leadership in Article 6, this is nothing less than government-sanctioned polytheism (Amendment 1).
Although we may assume that this amendment applies only to the free exercise of the various Christian denominations, the language does not so state. Future generations may easily apply this to the free exercise of every cult and false religion imaginable, including Popery, Islam, or even witchcraft, child-sacrifice and atheism.
Since all law is an expression of religion, the multiplication of gods cannot fail to subject our descendents to unending confusion, corruption and eventual civil war. Our legal system will devolve into a convoluted morass of conflicting laws. The laws of man will inevitably squeeze out the law of God and we will be left defenseless before His indignation and judgment.
We must commit without reservation to construct our legal system and government on the foundation of the Law of God alone. To do so requires that we prohibit the public worship of all other gods in compliance with the first commandment. This of course, would not annul the Bible's prohibition on persecution of non-Christians, or "strangers", as spelled out in Exodus 21: 20-22.
Thus, I propose the following amendment to the Amendment:
"Congress shall make all its laws conform to the established Christian religion, and prohibit the public exercise of all others"
